Sadie Sadie Sadie

With beautiful weather I grabbed the opportunity to yet do another shoot, this one was rescheduled and luckily the day was perfect!
Sadie is studying art, event and performance so is confident and use to eyes all being on her. She responded to my Status on Facebook wanting female models for my work, I asked the same question I have to all models 'Due to high demands in the fashion industry what is stopping you being a model?' not only these girls want to be models main issues are weight and height and for Sadie she wouldn't be tall enough.
Still not having a make-up artist as I felt like it was too much hassle arranging a date for her to come round and then cancel and holding all my shoots back I thought it was better to press on. For this shoot I decided on simple light make-up with statement lips. The outfits for the shoots were pretty bold so personally I felt that dramatic make-up wouldn't go well.
With again the weather being beautiful all was used is natural lighting.
In certain areas I found it quite difficult as the sun was too harsh, I hated the shadows once I saw them in the images I couldn't stop looking at them causing a great distraction so had to move the model into different positions to hide the shadow and to get a nice light on her face.
Every time I pressed the shutter my model moved into different positions showing me that Sadie took this very serious and would be good in the industry however when it came to selecting a few images as all was slightly different this made it much more difficult.
Sadie was very confident and by far one of the best models I have used other than the last shoot as she made it much easier for myself as the photographer with not having to direct her as much.
