Personal Goals

What I want to achieve when I finish my degree at Leeds City College, is have a good portfolio based around fashion photography.
With my previous course (foundation degree) being commercial and the way it was structured as students we didn't have much freedom to create our own briefs and link to university work. To pass the course we had to do set briefs and have certain pictures. When I left that course I didn't have much fashion work or explored as much as I wanted to. However this course has enabled me to be more creative and do something I actually want to do. I need to continue to take pictures for who ever needs them such as weddings and events to get my name out, gain the experience and money. After I feel like I have gained enough experience, built great networks and have a solid income then I would solely just do fashion photography.
I know where I want to get, and how I am going to get there.
Knowing it will take a great deal of time but with the strive to succeed I will get there and eventually be working with a good team and be a fashion photographer.
'To be a photographer you needs a great deal of patients and money' said Tony O'Connel (professional photographer) and I'm a pretty impatient person so I am hoping this will motivate me more to get myself out their and be more productive outside and after the course has finished!
