The Gallery at Flannels (round three)

Once again I was asked to take pictures at the gallery above Flannels Fashion Store.
This particular exhibition had hand painted  posters alongside many other dedicated artists and musicians.
To go along with all the fantastic and very interesting posters a band was also playing called 'Art Cowboys', who were amazing and brought a nice vibe with a relaxed and fun feeling to bring an end to the night.
Many posted dated far back from 1968 with a hand painted one off poster by Bill Nelson and other work was from present day art students.
The posters were so interesting I couldn't stop looking at them, all the time and effort put into advertising different things and the colours used which made them visually pleasing.
What was once a just means of promoting a product, in this case a band or artist, is now a celebration of drawings of quirky and interesting designs.
When taking pictures of this event it was more or less the same as my past two experiences of documenting the exhibitions at Flannels, the lighting was the same, the space used and the brief given.
As I have been doing this event for free the past few times I have decided to no longer document the exhibitions held here and to give someone else the experience as I found that it wasn't a challenge and I wasn't learning anything from it where as it could be more useful for other photographers who need a bit of experience.
With the work being posters and not photography there isn't I right lot I can say about the work other than the posters were brilliant, very eye catching. All displayed in different sizes with thick frames and presented on blank off white walls.
